Native Shelter Belt Planting

Native Shelter Belts make a great property boundary screen and form a physical barrier to reduce wind, create microclimates and attract native fauna such as birds and insects.

Using a combination of different native species is recommended to create biodiversity of both flora and fauna species. It is recommended to plant two rows minimum, 1m apart from each other and plant at 750mm spacings for each plant. It is also recommended you pay to have Gypsum Dust (for clay heavy/dense soils), premium soil, compost, mulch, and irrigation installed to support the successful growth of these plants.
