Commonly known as Bay Laurel, this species is a fragrant evergreen tree with large green leaves that are used in many traditional cooking dishes. 

They have a yellow fragrant flower with black fruit that blooms in spring. They are fantastic for hedging and Topiary and can Comfortably grow to 3.5m x 2m, preferring full/partial sun and free draining/average soil conditions. 

This species is frost and wind tolerant. It is recommended spacing these plants 500mm – 750mm apart to from a nice, dense hedge. We recommend you pay to have Gypsum Dust (for clay heavy/dense soils), premium soil, compost, mulch, and irrigation installed to support the successful growth of these plants.
