Commonly known as Bay Laurel, this species is a fragrant evergreen tree with large green leaves that are used in many traditional cooking dishes.
They have a yellow fragrant flower with black fruit that blooms in spring. They are fantastic for hedging and Topiary and can Comfortably grow to 3.5m x 2m, preferring full/partial sun and free draining/average soil conditions.
